Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples deal a heavy blow to the “Sibillo” clan, which was defined as “the Paranza of children”: 21 people arrested.
From the first light of day the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples have executed precautionary measures issued by the GIP of the Neapolitan Court at the request of the DDA, against 21 people believed to be linked to the “Sibillo” clan – operating in the heart of the city and made famous by the media as “the children's gang” – governed between 2013 and 2015 by the brothers Pasquale and Emanuele Sibillo.
Those arrested are considered to be seriously suspected of the crimes of mafia-type association, extortion, receiving stolen goods, drug dealing, exploitation of prostitution, illegal possession and carrying of firearms with the aggravating circumstances of mafia purposes.
The investigations, conducted by the Carabinieri of the Naples Centro Company and coordinated by the Neapolitan DDA, have documented an escalation of events - extortion demands and explosions of explosive devices and gunshots for intimidating purposes - that have marked the daily life of the historic center, in the context of the conflicts that arose with the rival Camorra organization of the "Mazzarella".

A real “strategy of tension” adopted by the clans to solicit the intervention of the Police and the Prosecutor's Office to the detriment of their rivals.
