Naples, Easter of solidarity for the prison officers of Poggioreale
The Police Force Penitentiary of the Penitentiary Institute of Naples Poggioreale together with the Deputy Commander Dr. Gaetano DIGLIO and with the participation of the Director Dr. Carlo BERDINI and the Superintendent of the Campania Region Dr. Antonio FULLONE, together with a delegation of Members of the Penitentiary Police Corps, donated to the Association "Noi Genitori di Tutti", in the person of one of the founding members Anna MAGRI, a check for € 2.300 (two thousand three hundred/00), the result of the collaboration and solidarity of all the Penitentiary Police personnel who serve at the Partenopeo Institute; these funds will be used: for the purchase of ECG CONTEC 600G ELECTROCARDIOGRAPH and for the support and assistance of oncology families, in this very difficult moment caused by the Pandemic.
The association carries out activities to protect children's rights, in close contact with the Santobono-Pausilipon Oncology department of the hospital, in favor of children affected by pathologies considered a direct consequence of environmental devastation.
This initiative was implemented by Superintendent Raffaele SERRA and the Chief Coor. Ass. Pasquale CAIAZZO, to combat the "Land of Fires", referring to that territory of the province of Naples, affected by the phenomenon of illegal landfills, the uncontrolled abandonment of urban and special waste associated, often, with the burning of the same, which has affected our territory for many years and to give hope to these children.
