Drugs hidden in a garage in Scampia discovered by the police.

Yesterday afternoon the agents of Scampia police station, during the territory control service, carried out an inspection at some garages of a condominium park in via Mianella where they found, hidden under some rubble, 15 bags with approximately 155 grams of cocaine and a precision scale.

That same afternoon, while passing through via Janfolla, they noticed a person riding a motorbike who, at the sight of them, fled to elude control despite having been ordered to stop. A chase ensued, which ended in via Teano, during which the driver lost control of the motorbike and was stopped.

In those circumstances the operators were surrounded by other people present on site who began to rail against them; with many difficulties and the support of other crews from the General Prevention Office, they managed to restore calm.
LI, a 40-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, was reported for resisting a public official and driving without a license repeatedly over the two-year period, while the vehicle was seized.
