“They came to the real estate agencies to ask if we want to sell the shops, they want to take advantage of our difficulties to transform the street into a shopping center and make the tradition disappear,” explains Salvatore Gambardella, one of the 40 artisans of the street that is in the list of the ten most famous in the world.
“On March 30 – adds Serena D'Alessandro, vice president and spokesperson of the shepherds – we sent a certified email to the institutions, no one answered us, they ignore us”. On Wednesday the shepherds will be in front of the Region and will ask to be received by the governor De Luca.
