Naples. They play cards peacefully in a bar: 36 people fined by the police, the business closed.

Yesterday afternoon the agents of the Office General Prevention, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, they intervened in a bar in via Bakunin following a report of numerous people sitting at tables.

Once on site, the police officers surprised 37 people, Neapolitans between 36 and 82 years old, including the owner of the business, who were playing cards. None of them were wearing a mask, they were fined for non-compliance with anti-Covid-19 measures.
Furthermore, the restaurant was closed for 5 days.

During the same checks, the police arrested a criminal who had escaped from house arrest. The officers of the San Paolo Police Station checked a man in via Adriano and found that he had left his home where he is under house arrest for possession of narcotics.
Vincenzo De Gais, a 48-year-old Neapolitan, was arrested for tax evasion and fined for failure to comply with anti-Covid-19 measures.
