I want to revolutionize the Crucifix

With this slogan Sandro Pierantozzi continues his battle, which has been going on for more than 20 years, aimed at highlighting a new image of Christ, which distances itself from the now outdated image of the crucifixion, which represents only a small part of the story of Jesus. The most painful, most bloody part.
“Jesus,” says Sandro, “was and is so much more!”, but above all, after the episode of the crucifixion, there was an even more important one, which is his Resurrection! His victory over evil!”:
And how much does the world need today for a positive vision, an image that gives hope? Really a lot.
Sandro has created and would like to see it accepted by the Catholic community, a new Cross, which he has called the Cross of Glory, which represents a Christ finally resurrected for the love of humanity, without representing the cruelty of his death. A reassuring image for everyone, for children first of all, but also for other religions that, in some way, have always accused the Catholic crucifix of being cruel in its representation of the violent death of Jesus.
After 20 years of battles, Sandro was on the verge of giving up, but making a video, which has become very popular on social media, provoking a flood of positive but also negative comments, has given him new energy, allowing him to resume his journey for the evangelization of Christ with his new icon.
Sandro, does not intend to replace the Crucifix because it is "wrong", but because it is now out of date, Jesus today must be a winner, positive, hopeful, he has already shown the whole world his sacrifice, it is right that, in this new era that we are living, he shows the other side of himself: the victorious and alive one, at our side to overcome all difficulties.

In the video, which had a lot of visibility on social media, people showed great interest in this new image proposed, often preferring it to the classic iconography. Even two little girls, interviewed, felt more reassured by the vision of the living and blessing Christ.

This is a more modern cross, in line with the times, with a decidedly positive and promising message.

Sandro Pierantozzi tells that, after a difficult life path and a subsequent illumination received from the Madonna, he begins his personal interior revolution that will lead him to make profound reflections on how the Catholic Church has entrenched itself in wanting to propose only one image of Jesus to whom to address one's prayers.
The image we know, however, is in fact historically incomplete, because it offers us only one aspect of the life of Jesus, when instead this figure presents many facets and many implications that are decidedly more oriented towards life than towards death.

"A visit to the Sanctuary of Divine Love changed my life”

Having entered the famous Roman Sanctuary, to pray and to find the right path, after a past of mistakes that cost him a lot, Sandro, is inspired by the famous icon of the Madonna that, in some way, offers him an alternative way. But not only that…

It also offers him a starting point for a cause to carry forward: Jesus deserves a work of evangelization, an advertisement (to use modern terms), presenting himself with a modern and positive image. May it be the strength for everyone to face the problems that life presents us... for Sandro the time has definitely come to abandon the crucifix and bring everyone closer to Jesus through a more friendly, welcoming figure and not at all sad and violent.

The wounds, the blood, the exudation of death, are the only image that the Catholic Church has offered, never taking into account the most important passage: the Resurrection.
Well, remember that Christ sacrificed himself for humanity, but even better would be to highlight that he was reborn for us, to stay close to us and to give us the strength to face difficulties precisely by virtue of a rebirth, a recovery, an uplift. All concepts that, especially in this historical moment, would be of great support for the Catholic world and beyond.
