Guglielmo Gicco, 37 year old world champion of bare-knuckle boxing and current holder of the international title was acquitted this morning by the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere Second Criminal Section President Antonio Riccio from the crime of robbery.

The defense attorneys' defense thesis was fully accepted.
The facts date back to about 9 years ago when there was an argument between the champion from Sammarinese and some local youths and during this argument according to their version Gicco would have stolen the purse containing 5000 euros. But the accusations' thesis did not hold up in court and the champion from Sammarinese was acquitted.
