A hard blow to the Sautto Ciccarelli clan of the Parco Verde of Caivano, real drug lords: 49 were arrested.
From the first light of day, in the municipality of Caivano, and then in the provinces of Bergamo, Isernia, Imperia, Benevento, Cosenza, Forlì Cesena and Caserta, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples, supported by the territorially competent Arma Commands, are executing a personal precautionary measure issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the local Anti-Mafia District Directorate, against 49 individuals believed to be close to the "Sautto - Ciccarelli" clan and seriously suspected, to varying degrees, of association aimed at drug trafficking and possession for the purpose of dealing in drugs, crimes aggravated by the mafia method and purpose.
The investigations, conducted by the military of the Investigative Unit of Castello di Cisterna and coordinated by the Neapolitan DDA, have dealt a heavy blow to drug trafficking in the Parco Verde of Caivano, one of the largest drug dealing areas in Europe, active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The organization and operation of the aforementioned drug dealing areas were also reconstructed, defining the roles and responsibilities of the suspects.
In a few hundred meters, protected by armored doors and gates to evade police checks, 14 "points of sale" were identified and monitored where the drug was sold to "customers" from all over the region.
Also documented was the flow of money that, thanks to the non-stop activity of the drug dealing squares, allowed enormous earnings to the associates. Among the top members of the clan, in fact, there was someone who could even exceed a monthly earnings of 130 thousand euros.
The details of the operation will be made known during a video conference meeting between the media and the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, which will be held at 10.30:XNUMX today.
