Legality, Alpaa and Flai-Cgil present a national ethical agriculture project to the “Nappo” agricultural fund in Scafati (Via Nuova S. Marzano).
“A new narrative of agriculture: legality, ethics and sustainability” is the title of the project that Alpaa and Flai Cgil will present on Monday 10 May 2021 at 10:30 am in a press conference that will be held inside the Agricultural Fund “Nicola Nappo””, property confiscated from the Camorra, managed in Scafati, in the province of Salerno, by the ATS “Terra Viva”.
The press conference will be attended by the president of ALPAA Nazionale, the association of agri-food and environmental workers and producers, Giuseppe Carotenuto, the general secretary of Flai-Cgil Nazionale, Giovanni Mininni, the head of the legal consultation of Cgil Nazionale, Massimo Di Celmo, the general secretary of Flai-Cgil Napoli e Campania, Giovanna Basile, the general secretary of Cgil Napoli e Campania, Nicola Ricci, the regional councilor for Legality, Mario Morcone, the regional councilor for Agriculture, Nicola Caputo and the mayor of Scafati, Cristoforo Salvati.
Also present were representatives of Libera and Legambiente Campania, the family of Nicola Nappo, an innocent victim of the Camorra to whom the confiscated property is dedicated, and the partners of the “9 Maggio” project, the ethical and sustainable San Marzano Dop tomato purees that have been produced for two years in collaboration with local companies on the agricultural land.
