Varcaturo: Carabinieri and Municipal Police control a beach. Owner reported, area seized.
I Carabinieri of the Varcaturo Station together with those of the NAS and the Labor Inspectorate of Naples and the Municipal Police of Giugliano carried out an inspection at a well-known beach resort in Licola. The owner was reported at large for violations relating to safety in the workplace, sanctioned for the presence of an irregular worker and for hygiene-sanitary deficiencies.

During the activities, administrative sanctions and criminal provisions amounting to approximately 20 thousand euros were applied and a state-owned area of approximately 2 thousand square meters was seized. The area - which had been fenced off without the required authorizations - had hosted some events over the past weekends that later degenerated into gatherings and fights.
