A severe blow inflicted by the Carabinieri on the management of drug dealing in the Nola area. 35 people are under investigation, 19 of whom have been hit by precautionary measures. Searches underway
This morning, in the provinces of Naples and Varese, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples have executed two separate personal precautionary measures (13 prison orders, 1 house arrest and 5 residence bans – two of which in the Campania Region, one in the province of Naples and two in the municipality of Cimitile).

The precautionary measures were issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the local Anti-Mafia District Directorate, against 18 suspects considered seriously suspected, to varying degrees, of the crimes of association for the purpose of drug trafficking, aggravated by being composed of more than ten people and by the availability of weapons, as well as possession for the purpose of dealing.
The investigations – conducted by the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Carabinieri Company of Nola – have allowed us to document the dynamics inherent in the management of drug dealing activities in the Nola area, identifying four distinct criminal groups, active, respectively, in the municipalities of Nola, Casamarciano, San Gennaro Vesuviano and Cimitile.
It was also ascertained that the associates had relationships with individuals linked to criminal circuits operating in the municipality of Naples, functional to the supply of the drug.
During the investigations, 5 other people were arrested in flagrante delicto, seizing approximately one kilogram of various types of narcotic substances (cocaine, hashish and marijuana).
Seventeen delegated searches are underway, aimed at finding narcotic substances, against the same number of suspects not subject to precautionary measures.
