The Naples Medical Association has always fought to stem the phenomenon of violence against those who work to save lives. This awareness-raising activity has led to numerous proposals over the years, including that of recognizing the status of public officials for doctors performing their duties. It's clear that only in this way can we halt the escalation we're witnessing. There's no time to waste; it's only by sheer luck that no one has died yet.
