The investigations conducted in the factory, which involved the military and technicians of the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection, allowed to ascertain environmental irregularities. In particular, the control of the drainage network and the flow line of the wastewater produced by the factory, inspected with the use of tracer fluid, revealed irregularities at a specific emission point that constitutes an unauthorized discharge of industrial wastewater into the public sewer system.

Following the investigations, the military proceeded to seize the illegal discharge and to interrupt the discharge of waste water, reporting the company's managers to the AG.
