In the period 6-20 July, the Rt index The average calculated on symptomatic cases was 1,57 (range 1,34-1,82), a sharp increase compared to the previous week and above one.
A similar increase in the transmissibility index based on cases with hospitalization is observed: Rt 1.46 (1.38-1.55) on July 20 versus Rt 1.16 (1.06-1.27) on July 13. The high proportion of young and asymptomatic subjects must be considered when interpreting these transmissibility estimates.
