A vast fire, yesterday evening, at around 23pm, for reasons currently being investigated, a Forio d'Ischia: damage to farmhouses and electrical and telephone cabins but no injuries.
Le flames, which involved part of the island's mountain, affected an area of Mediterranean scrub and woodland of approximately 30 hectares. Some country houses, an electricity and telephone booth were damaged and there was aexplosion of some gas cylinders.

The Carabinieri of the Forio Station, the Radiomobile Unit of the Ischia Company, the Civil Protection and the Fire Brigade of Ischia intervened. No one was injuredThe fire was put out after several hours of work.
