A3, San Giovanni-Napoli center section towards Naples closed one night to allow for redevelopment works
Autostrade Meridionali announces that, on the A3 Naples-Pompei-Salerno, to allow for the redevelopment of the central reservation of the San Giovanni viaduct, scheduled to take place at night, from 22 pm on Monday 30th to 6 am on Tuesday 31st August, the section between San Giovanni and Naples Centre, towards Naples, will be closed.
This is reported in a note from the Autostrade press office. In addition, the Napoli Centro, Napoli Porto and Napoli Via Marina junctions, on the way to Salerno, will be closed, as well as the “Bausan” ramp at Napoli Porto.
Therefore, after the mandatory exit at the San Giovanni junction, you can use the ordinary road system to reach the capital of Naples. As an alternative to the closures of the entry junctions towards Salerno of Napoli Centro, Napoli Porto and Napoli Via Marina, you can use the San Giovanni Sud junction.
