CeppaloniYesterday afternoon, a 53-year-old man was trying to put out a fire which threatened his crops on his land when it was engulfed in flames. His condition is very serious.
According to an initial reconstruction, the farmer would have been intoxicated by smoking and then he would have fallen to the ground unconscious, thus allowing the flames to “attack” him. Fortunately, the firefighting teams that were present on site spotted him and immediately alerted the 118 health workers.
An air ambulance it has transferred to San Pio in Benevento with very serious burns all over his body. The doctors at the San Pio hospital ordered the Transfer to Cardarelli in Naples.
The 53-year-old was transported aboard a 118 helicopter while the investigations to try to establish the nature of the fires that broke out in the area yesterday.
