Over One Hundred Bottari for the 'Festival of Ancient Sounds'

It is scheduled from 3 al September 5th, Macerata Campania (Caserta), the Festival of Ancient Sounds, promoted by the association The Ancient Sounds.

We begin on September 3th, at 21pm, with the concert of Voices from the South. The September 4th, always at 21pm, album presentation and show The Ancient Sounds and to follow de The Seven Mouths. The September 5th at 21pm "The Temple of Bottari“, concert with about one hundred bottari that will see the participation of Giovanni Imparato. All concerts will take place at the Concert Area in via Martiri di Cefalonia in Macerata Campania.

"It is an honor for me to serve as artistic director of this important Festival. – says the artistic director Robert D'Agnes - the only one in Italy to have as protagonists the Bottari, a sensational expression of the popular tradition of Campania. From this festival was born the idea of ​​giving life to the Temple of Bottari, which this year will see the simultaneous performance of over one hundred bottari together with Giovanni Imparato, but which we hope will soon be able to reach even more important numbers. In such a traditional context as that of Macerata Campania this festival represents an important stage because it takes place at a different time than the usual patronal feast. I am convinced that all traditions need a period outside the canonical days dedicated to community celebrations, where they can experiment with new artistic formulas and in which to create cultural tourism and, consequently, an induced effect for the community".
