Camerota. Double appointment to close the ninth edition of the 'Camerota Festival', the music and culture show organized by the cultural-musical association 'Zefiro' of Camerota, chaired by the professor Giuseppe Marotta with the direction entrusted to the maestro Leo Cammarano.
The festival, organized in collaboration with the Fondazione Meeting del Mare CREA, which is sponsored by the Municipality of Camerota, opened on July 30 with a concert by Ethno Tribal Live, the ukulele and percussion duo of Lucanians Danilo Vignola, considered the greatest experimenter of ukulele sounds and techniques in the world, and the percussion of Giò Didonna, a virtuoso innovator and experimenter of rhythm.
Friday 13th August will be the turn of theArmando Rizzo Trio, the group was born from the continuous musical research of the maestro Armando Rizzo and from his desire to bring the accordion into musical environments that are still unusual for this instrument. The appointment is scheduled for the terrace of the House of Culture and Arts at 21.30:XNUMX pm. The Argentine Tango, the French Musette, the soundtracks of the most famous films up to the Brazilian chori: everything is amalgamated by jazz improvisations, continually creating new musical scenes thus obtaining a captivating show for the public.

On the eve of Ferragosto, instead, the hill of the Sanctuary of Sant'Antonio, located on the mountain of the same name, will be transformed, from 19.00 pm, into a breathtaking setting with the piano concert at sunset by the maestro Luigi Ranieri Gargano. Gargano is a pianist, saxophonist, composer and arranger originally from Sala Consilina who currently lives and works as a teacher in Milan.
In his childhood he won numerous international piano competitions that led him to take part in the most prestigious events of the Martucci Conservatory of Salerno. At the end of his classical studies he also approached Jazz and modern music arriving at electronic and soon establishing himself also in this genre with various releases on some of the most influential labels, as well as with numerous concerts in some of the most renowned theaters, clubs and festivals in the world.
Admission is free. The appointments are held in full compliance with all anti-covid regulations in force. Places are limited, admission is permitted until sold out.
