Campagna, the Vaccination Center at the Palazzetto dello Sport resumes its activity with a new appointment for Sunday 29 August

Countryside. After a short break, on Sunday 29 August the Vaccination Centre of the Palazzetto dello Sport in Campagna will resume its activities.

The healthcare team led by Dr. Annamaria Nobile, head of the Collective Prevention Department District 64-65 ASL Salerno, in collaboration with the Municipal Administration and the volunteers of the Campagna Municipal Civil Protection Unit, have organized a new vaccination session for Sunday 29 August: the first part of the day will be dedicated to boosters for second doses and in the afternoon the unvaccinated will be the protagonists with a new OPEN DAY for ages 12 and up, even without a reservation.

The perfect synergy between ASL SA – Department of Collective Prevention, district 64-65 – of Dr. Nobile, the Municipal Administration led by the mayor Arch. Roberto Monaco and the Municipal Civil Protection Unit coordinated by Mr. Gerardo Landi, has made Campagna an efficient and consolidated organizational model.

The numbers from the Campagna vaccination center are a confirmation of the excellent organizational machine: approximately 11.000 doses were administered there, with an average of approximately 700 inoculations for each session, also establishing a real record of vaccinations in a single day for the province of SA and precisely on June 2, 2021 with 1.167 doses injected. These numbers have allowed the City of Campagna to cover over 50% of the population with double vaccine coverage.

Now all the efforts of the organizational machine, also given the upcoming reopening of schools, will be directed towards those people who have not yet been vaccinated and who have finally voluntarily convinced themselves to do so.
