Campania by night, Ferragosto weekend between Ischia, Ercolano and Maiori

Campania by Night also during the week of Ferragosto: guided tours and exhibitions in Ischia, Ercolano and Minori.

The Campania By Night events continue during the week of August 15th, the traditional proposal of Scabec which for 6 years has been offering tourists and residents places of art and museums to discover and visit in the evening, with guided tours and events created ad hoc from June to October, www.campaniabynight.it.

In Ischia until August 31 the exhibition continues “Forms of Freedom” of the Ischian artist Happy Meo who with his works, created by recycling materials, combines the fluidity of creative thought with the solidity of substance. The particular works of art depict silhouettes of fantastic women, real and regal women; tributes made immortal by art and created with metals that live a second life.

The exhibition itinerary is hosted in the Villa Arbusto in Ischia, home of the Museum of Pithecusae, charming building made of pergolas and gardens with panoramic terraces. The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 to 20.00 with free admission and is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Lacco Ameno.

At the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum appointment tomorrow with “I Venerdì di Ercolano”, guided night tours enriched by the theatrical performances of the Tableaux Vivants of the Teatri 35 company, inspired by the figure of Hercules, the hero who gives his name to the city.

The program includes guided tours of the archaeological area every Friday until September 24, enriched by the projection of some images of frescoes torn from the buildings of Herculaneum during the excavations and a chronological history of the life of Hercules created with the Tableaux Vivants technique. Visits start at 20 pm.

The 25th edition is here Taste Minori, an event organized with the Municipality of Minori which this year offers events from 10 to 28 August.
