Campania. Starting from tomorrow, September 1st, the local public transport service carried out by clp, mainly in the Caserta area, passes to the regional company Water in collaboration with the Autonomous Body of Volturno.
The operation involves over 400 workers, more than 150 buses, 5 depots, and approximately 10 million km of line. The complex transition, "with disputes still ongoing" and which "will slowly take regular shape", starts immediately "so as not to leave citizens without services even for a day", as stated in a note from EaV. The operation has been defined over the course of July and August with the commitment "by the Air structures, supported on the basis of a network contract by the EaV structures".

The transition is a first step towards the regional company which, in its entirety, includes a holding company, the current EaV which will merge Air spa by incorporation, and three companies operating respectively in the rubber sector (the current Air), in the infrastructure sector (RFI model) and in the railway/metropolitan transport sector (Trenitalia model).
During the month of September, Air will also acquire the services of the bankrupt Buonotourist company, 54 workers and operations in the province of Salerno. Once fully operational, Air, a regional automotive company, awaiting the tenders currently suspended due to Covid, will operate in all the provinces of Campania with approximately 1.800 employees and approximately 800 buses.
