In this way we would not have an increase in vehicles circulating on our territory”.

The President of Federalberghi Island of Capri, Sergio Gargiulo, launches his urgent proposal to find a solution to the transport problems that have worsened on the Blue Island in recent weeks, to the great disappointment of residents and tourists forced to queue and wait in long lines to get around the island.

"We consider the state of affairs on an island that requires a punctual service that is adequate to all the safety protocols in place to be shameful. If those who manage transport on Capri are unable to find a solution because they are prevented from doing so by reasons that concern us to a certain extent, then it is up to those who experience the problems of the island first-hand to find a solution" Sergio comments Gargiulo.

“If we can consider the movement of commuters an internal problem and one that needs to be resolved – continues the hotelier leader – the complaints from tourists that we regularly register in our hotels deserve the utmost attention because they influence the overall opinions of the stay on the island, modifying the international rating of Capri that is generated with the evaluations expressed by our guests.
