A casalnuovo the owner of a bar he was arrested because he stole electricity his business. And he had been doing it for years.
The forestry police discovered it while they were busy these days with operations aimed at controlling the agri-food sector. The military of the Marigliano Forestry Station, in fact, while they were checking a bar in Via Pigna, they noticed some tampering on the electricity meter.
Enel's technical staff was alerted and it emerged that the electricity meter had been manipulated: 2 of the 3 phases had been welded thus decreasing consumption.
In the last 5 years – it has been ascertained – the owner of the commercial activity, a 44 year old with no criminal record, has stolen illegally electricity for an amount of approximately 38mila euros.
The carabinieri arrested the man for aggravated theft. The 44enne is awaiting trial with very direct ritual.
