An unusual intervention for the men of the flying section who, in carrying out a request for help from the Operations center, they found themselves in the home of a woman about to give birth. The episode this morning shortly before 9 on Alcide De Gasperi Course, just a few steps away from the Police Station.

The woman giving birth, a 29-year-old woman, was alone at home at the time when her waters broke. According to calculations she should have given birth in ten days. In a state of confusion due to the delicate moment she called 118 and 113, only that the men of the steering wheel already on the road for territory control service.

- agents, with the support of other colleagues, they helped  and assisted the woman in all the pre and postpartum phases. Then the transport to the hospital to the San Leonardo hospital by ambulance, which arrived several minutes later, for all the necessary checks.

The little one, called Sofì, weighs 2kg and is doing very well. Excellent clinical picture also for the woman, mother for the second time, who will never forget this birth. The same goes for the officers who intervened.
