Registrations are open for the “Cilento Story“, the literary competition of “Torchiara Story Festival 2021” scheduled byThe 8 10 October, which debuts this year with a fascinating theme that leaves plenty of room for creativity: genius and recklessness.

Organized by the Matteo and Claudina de Stefano Foundation, in collaboration with the Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Buccino e dei Comuni Cilentani (BCC) and the Licosia Publishing House, the common thread of the participation announcement is intended to be a tribute to the greatest figure of the last century, Albert Einstein who, just 100 years ago, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics.

Author of the Theory of Relativity, Einstein was an eccentric man, a friend of great artists, first of all Andy Warhol. As a convinced pacifist, he supported the civil rights movement, which is why he was spied on and monitored by the FBI when he moved to America from Germany.

The Torchiara Story Festival competition resumes the tradition that, in the past six editions, had brought many authors and enthusiasts of writing and photography to compete, coming from every region of Italy.

The rules of the competition (published on the website concorsiletterari.it) bring with them the success of the previous years, starting from a new look to indicate an opening to the whole Cilento territory: in fact, the award ceremony will have, each time, an itinerant character in the countries that can offer the most beautiful historical centers.

La deadline of participation in the competition is set on the day September 15, 2021The best works will be published in a volume edited by the Licosia Publishing House, which will feature the winning stories and their authors. 3 winners will receive a plaque as recognition, in addition to a stay in Torchiara for the date of the award ceremony, which will take place on Sunday 10 October, in Ogliastro Cilento, at the headquarters of the Matteo and Claudina de Stefano Foundation.
