Il last month on the same day they registered 144 new positives to covid in Campania with 192 places occupied in ordinary hospital wards and 12 in intensive care.
Today's numbers seem dramatic. Even if the contagion rate remains substantially stable (today 4,02% compared to 4,25 yesterday) the SNOW of the crisis unit of the Campania region records a good 711 new positives.
Campania among the first regions of Italy in absolute numbers for positives. Last month we were talking about covid free islands which should have been followed by the major tourist locations and then by the end of September-beginning of October also the city of Naples.
Today's numbers say otherwise with doctors recalled from holidays and covid wards filling up and even with ambulances lined up at Cotugno and in other hospitals in the province.
In Campania, from SNOW daily newspaper on the Covid emergency, it emerges that the places occupied in intensive care are stable (16 as yesterday) but the hospitalized in ordinary departments. They have become 317 compared to yesterday's 303.
But above all, almost double compared to a month ago. beds available in ordinary wards there are a total of 3.160, those in intensive care 656. Two deaths in the last 48 hours.
