"Twenty-five years of Gusta Minori, which represents the top event in the narration of the culture and history of a territory that is a World Heritage Site for its anthropological relationship with the landscape, are twenty-five years of the Amalfi Coast. Today, “Drama De Antoquis – Fantasite 5.0” will be performed with three evening shows, a great artistic and theatrical work, capable of uniting multiple arts with wonderful scenic effects. An unpublished text, written by our Artistic Director, Gerardo Buonocore. It is a romanticized story of the owner of the Roman Villa - he has declared Antonio Porpora, Production Director of Gusta Minori – Senator Caio who spends his holidays on the Amalfi Coast, but his life of leisure will be upset by the eruption of the Somma – Vesuvius volcanic complex, the one that covered Pompeii but not the Roman Villa of Minori. How did the Romans spend their holidays? What were the intrigues, the mysteries, the passions? It is evidence that 2000 years ago tourism was already taking place on the Amalfi Coast".

We are increasingly convinced that through the arts of singing, music, and dance, with the help of innovative technology, the stories of our archaeological sites can be exported abroad. The setting for all this will be the Roman Villa itself with video mapping technology, 30 internationally renowned actors, musicians and dancers, all dressed in Roman period costumes. What was the Roman Villa of Minori like 2000 years ago? What happened that night in 79 AD on the Amalfi Coast in the same minutes that Pompeii was being covered? What were the costumes? Who lived in the Villa and, above all, why is it such an extraordinarily important site? All this is in “Drama de Antiquis”, the musical with 3D video mapping technology that has reconstructed the atmosphere of the time and the environments of the time in the Roman Villa itself.
