Da Thursday August 26 maximum Sunday 29, at the “John Paul II Park” in Pomigliano D'Arco (NA), starting at 21 pm, the third edition of theInferences Short Film Festival, the event created by the Campania association “Luna di Seta”, dedicated to complex thinking and the abandonment of any naive and, therefore, consolatory interpretation of reality.
Organized by Valentina Sodano, the festival sees the artistic direction of Maximum Small and fourteen finalist short films, selected from approximately three hundred proposals received from all over the world.
"Cinema must focus on new languages and experiments with the intent of daring through new scenarios that contribute to innovating the collective cinematic imagination – the professor stated Lello Savonardo, jury president – I accepted this role because “Inferenze” is a Festival that opens the doors to new points of view with respect to the obvious visions and representations of reality. In this third edition, in fact, space is given to an oblique, parallel, creative look, different from the usual one. The films in competition are particularly interesting both for the languages used and for the contents with which directors and artists (including emerging ones) tell in an original way, contributing to the development of experimental paths for cinema".
Among the interpreters of the shorts there are also many prestigious names, known to the general public, such as Alessandro Haber, Violante Placido, Alessio Boni, Sabrina Impactiatore, Pino I teach and others.
To complete the evenings, made possible thanks to the contribution of the Film Commission Regione Campania and the hospitality of the Municipality of Pomigliano D'Arco, there will be the screenings of the works out of competition and the sections “Sguardi dal mondo” and “Focus Campania”.
