A 26-year-old Neapolitan girl was the victim of a hit-and-run driver yesterday evening in a small town on the border between Abruzzo and Molise.
The victim was called Floriana Carannante and was 26 years old. The accident occurred late yesterday evening in Athlete, in the L'Aquila area, on state road 652 which connects with San Pietro Avellana , in the province of Isernia, on the border with Molise.
Based on an initial reconstruction of the dynamics of the accident, carried out by the Carabinieri of Castel di Sangro , the motorbike on which the girl was travelling with her partner collided with a car at the height of a petrol station. The driver of the car allegedly hit the vehicle with the 2 motorcyclists and then he would have escaped on foot, abandoning the damaged car.
