'Lei', Kaali's new single

“Lei” tells the story of love in its exceptional and disarming simplicity, stripping itself of armor and masks, breaking down every defense, letting words flow that come from the heart and, from the heart, arrive straight, sincere and without filters to the recipient of a letter, a letter full of rhymes and bars, framed by an iconic and flowing flow and lulled by romantic sounds, which recall the Old School, without however neglecting highly contemporary metrics and melodic lines.

Kaali, at the registry office Stephen Mengozzi, after years of experience and apprenticeship in the Hip Hop/Urban collective Realtà Distorta Crew and the publication of two singles as a soloist under the stage name Kali brordc – “Eternal"and "I'll stop after” -, returns to digital stores changing his pseudonym, but maintaining the same intimate, visceral and personal attitude that characterizes each of his compositions, thus highlighting a consolidated authorial maturity that reconfirms his vision of music and rap: a rap that transcends the story of an “unlived” experience, of hearsay that the artist tries at all costs to make his own with the sole purpose of selling, of conforming to the trend of the moment and that returns to its natural dimension, in which the MC transposes emotions, feelings and everything he has experienced first-hand, on his own skin, onto a beat, internalizing it, enclosing it in the treasure chest of his soul and which, through this direct and personal experience, is transformed into music, reaching the public in an authentic and personal way.

Produced by Reb the prod, mixed and mastered by Andrea Mattia and enriched by Minervae's backing vocals, "Lei" is a song that reaches the listener immediately and spontaneously, just like the theme on which it focuses, love.
