Napoli. It's a disaster in the gardens of Molosiglio which, after what appears to have been a party for all intents and purposes, appears as a gigantic garbage dump in which glass and plastic bottles, cans, plastic plates and cutlery, food containers and food scraps have been thrown.
Il Molosiglio already for some time become the home of numerous individuals, with all the consequences of degradation that such a situation entails, especially in summer it reaches the peak with regards to indecency and abuses of incivility. In fact, as several citizens and regular visitors of those gardens have told the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli, some communities of citizens would gather in those spaces to organize barbecues and parties. The abandoned and accumulated garbage would be precisely the testimony of one of these parties.
"We asked Asia to intervene urgently and clean up the area, which has been reduced to a dump. This situation, which we have already denounced several times, must find a definitive resolution. First of all, we need to get social workers involved so that those who live in hardship and who live in that area are taken to centers where they can live in a more dignified manner and receive the necessary care and assistance.
We also ask that there be greater control and surveillance of Molosiglio to put an end to this phenomenon of illegal parties and incivility also because it is almost scientific that where alcohol flows in rivers, indecencies, incivility, violence and episodes of degradation occur.”- commented Councilor Borrelli.
