Naples. Checks in the Pianura neighborhood: a criminal arrested for escaping house arrest.
The Carabinieri of the Bagnoli company and those of the Campania regiment carried out a wide-ranging service combing the streets and squares of the Pianura neighborhood. Numerous searches were carried out as part of the services ordered by the provincial command of the Carabinieri of Naples.
During the checks, Pasquale Iorio was arrested, in execution of a provision issued by the Court of Naples. The man, 32 years old, had violated house arrest several times.
The military were also involved in several checks on commercial businesses and in verifying compliance with the highway code: a vehicle was seized and a 24-year-old was reported for being found driving without ever having obtained a license.
Eight people under house arrest were checked at their homes. Three drug users were reported to the prefecture.
The checks will continue in the next few days.
