Naples. Over 600 carabinieri will be deployed in the city and province on the occasion of Ferragosto. Hundreds of patrols will patrol the territory so that a peaceful August 15th is spent.
In addition to the usual presence in the neighborhoods considered most sensitive, the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples will support a careful Monitoring with Rib and islands, using air and naval means.
The islands, therefore, will be at the centre of the controls because they are notoriously pstormed by holidaymakers occasional and permanent tourists. The ports will be protected with services filtering at landings.
The control operations in the various points of greatest interest throughout the province will see the involvement, as usual, of the Cynophilic nucleus Carabinieri of Sarno.

At sea – in the marine protected areas of the 3 largest islands in the Gulf of Naples – the underwater carabinieri will ensure that the delicate seabed is not raided by unscrupulous fishermen.
Furthermore, in the most crowded tourist sites, a visible presence will be guaranteed with foot and horse patrols.
And obviously there will always be a high level of attention dedicated to compliance with anti-contagion regulations with checks on the streets and in commercial activities.
