“The viral video of the young man climbing the facade of the Oriental University in Largo Maggiore Pignatelli, in the historic center, then falling from a height of three meters after losing his balance is yet another testimony to the delirium of anarchy and irresponsibility that characterizes the nights of young Neapolitans. But, please, let's not call it movida. These behaviors have nothing to do with having fun, with being together, with spending a good time with friends. Having fun does not mean putting your life and that of others at risk. It does not mean getting high without restraint. It does not mean starting fights and attacks. What often happens in the nights of young people is only the sign of a growing malaise, of a social unease and of a rampant incivility that march unstoppable, against which families are often absent and institutions do little. As happened last night in Caserta, where an 18-year-old lost his life after being stabbed during a fight between peers.

In Coroglio, where many remained prisoners of hundreds of young people who crowded the streets and clubs in a chaotic and dangerous way. Let's say enough to the madness and violence of the wild and uncontrolled movida and to the wild nights of the stupid and criminals. The squares and streets of the city can be lived fully, having fun, without resorting to excesses, illegality and violence". This is the comment of the regional councilor of Europa Verde, Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
