Naples, masks on license plates to evade the ZTL: 4 reported

Naples, 4 people reported who wanted to evade police controls ZTL putting masks and beach towels on the license plate and enter the passage of via Nisida to Bagnoli.

The Carabinieri of the Naples Bagnoli Company together with those of the Campania Regiment have combed the streets of the neighborhood on the orders of the Provincial Command of Naples: 24 vehicles checked and 38 people identified, of these 20 are criminals.

During the operations the military personnel of the force have reported at liberty for suppression, destruction and concealment of true documents 4 Guests: two 55-year-olds, a 33-year-old and a 26-year-old.

The Carabinieri stopped the 4 “smart guys” on board their vehicles near the ZTL crossing on Via Nisida. They wanted to evade the control of the crossing. Various expedients were used to cover the license plates – surgical mask, beach towel and a handbag. The people arrested did not know that this way of acting was a criminal offence that requires reporting at liberty and a trial.

There was no shortage of checks on the highway code with fines of 12 thousand euros. 2 scooters were seized. The checks will be intensified in particular during the next August bank holiday weekend.
