NapoliYesterday morning, during their territorial control service, the officers of the San Ferdinando Police Station, while passing through via Partenope, noticed a person riding a scooter who, at the sight of them, made a U-turn to flee in the direction of via Chiatamone.
A chase ensued during which the motorcycle continued its journey, carrying out maneuvers that were dangerous for road traffic until it managed to disappear into Piazza Amedeo.
At that moment the patrol car communicated to the Operations Centre the descriptions of the fleeing vehicle and of the driver who, at the height of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, was intercepted by the Falcons of the Flying Squad who ordered him to stop.

The fugitive, at the sight of them, tried to run away but hit the service motorbike, knocking the officers to the ground. They promptly blocked him and found him in possession of a switchblade with a 13 cm blade and a mobile phone that had been stolen shortly before from a commercial establishment on Via Chiatamone.
Furthermore, during the identification phase, the criminal provided false personal details, showing an identity card that was found to be altered and it was ascertained that he was on board a scooter stolen last August 26th which was returned to its rightful owner.
Giuseppe Secce, a 43-year-old Neapolitan subjected to the alternative measure of semi-liberty, was arrested for theft by dexterity, assault, resisting a public official, damaging public administration property, receiving stolen goods, carrying objects capable of causing offence, false attestation or declaration to a public official regarding personal identity and possession and fabrication of false documents.
