The Provincial Command of the Financial Police of Naples, during a series of inspections carried out in the metropolitan area and at the main seaside tourist resorts of the province, has seized 1.245.000 “unsafe” items and lacking the minimum safety certifications and information for the consumer, such as the importer, the manufacturer and the description of the characteristics in Italian.
In particular, the Guardia di Finanza Group of Nola seized from a lighting supply store in the area run by Chinese citizens, in addition to 1.100.000 between beauty accessories, for aquarium and office use unsafe, of dubious origin, of uncertain manufacture and potentially dangerous to health.
The documentation provided and the information reported on the items displayed for sale were not sufficient to guarantee authenticity and safety: the products were seized and the owner was reported to the Chamber of Commerce for violations of the Consumer Code.
Still in the province, they were seized by the financial police of the Frattamaggiore Group, at a Chinese emporium of Cardito, approximately 100.000 unsafe items, including personal care and home accessories.
Finally, the Yellow Flames of the Company of Greek's tower and of the Tenements of Ischia e Massa Lubrense they have seized, between the coral city, Meta of Sorrento and the island of Ischia, over 1.000 non-compliant items, including pseudo protective masks, clothing and costume jewellery accessories lacking the minimum indications for the consumer on the origin, provenance and quality.

A total of 4 people responsible, both Italian and foreign, were reported to the Judicial Authority, and another 6 were reported to the Chamber of Commerce for administrative violations.
These results are also part of the intensification of activities for the prevention and repression of counterfeiting and related phenomena ordered in August by the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples.
