On Wednesday evening, in Cisterna di Latina (LT), the Flying Squad and the GICO of the
The Guardia di Finanza of Naples arrested Marco Panetta, born in 73, a criminal, originally from Rosarno (RC) for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
The joint judicial police operation is part of a wider investigative activity, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of
Naples, conducted with the support of the Central Operations Service and the Service
Central Organized Crime Investigation of the Guardia di Finanza and
aimed at combating international drug trafficking.
Investigators have identified an industrial warehouse, also used
for loading and unloading trucks and articulated lorries, as a possible storage location for
large quantities of drugs.
Once they reached the warehouse and tracked down the owner, the police and
Finance police proceeded to search the site and a parked truck
inside, attributable to a transport company for which he works
Marco Panetta himself.

The search ended with the discovery and seizure of 1.675 kg of marijuana.
The substance - partly already processed and packaged, partly still in its final state
raw - was found in numerous plastic bags hidden behind
some pallets of goods, both inside the loading compartment of the truck, ready for
to be transferred.
For a similar incident, Marco Panetta was already arrested in 2013, in France, when, during another investigative activity, he was stopped on board a truck inside which 330 kg of cocaine were hidden.
