Almost nine months after the death of Diego Armando Maradona, “Segreti d'Autore”, the Festival conceived by Ruggero Cappuccio and directed by Nadia Baldi, pays homage to the greatest footballer of all time with “Maradona concerto”, a show with Claudio Di Palma and pianist Danilo Rea.
Previewed at the Campania Teatro Festival, and awaiting its Roman debut in October at the Quirino theatre, this dedication by great contemporary poets and prose writers to the genius of Maradona will be staged on Monday 9 August at 21.30 pm in the historic Palazzo Coppola in Valle Cilento/Sessa Cilento (Sa).
On texts by Ruggero Cappuccio, Roberto De Simone and Benedetta Palmieri, a top player of Italian theater such as Claudio Di Palma and the famous musician Danilo Rea take to the field for a scheme that turns out to be successful: the actor's evocative acting blends perfectly with ten singular playmates, fingers running over the piano, and together they give us the harmonies of one of the greatest emotions of the twentieth century. A small, discreet, loving work, which knows how to give shape and word back to gestures, memory to myth, proclaiming eternal glory to the incarnation of a pure spark of God.
