Nino Simeone, outgoing city councilor and advisor to the President of the Regional Council of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca, on the issues of Local Public Transport, in a video that appeared today, August 28, 2021, on his Facebook profile, intervenes on the topic of hiring through temporary work within the public companies of the Municipality of Naples.
“One of my commitments in the next council term will be to proceed with the hiring of personnel within the public companies of the Municipality of Naples. Hiring that must be carried out through transparent competitive procedures!” – says the outgoing city councilor.
Simeone points out that, in addition to carrying on the old battles on reliable and safe public transport, on roads and care of the territory, the issue of work will be central during his personal electoral campaign.
"I met some young temporary workers – continues Simeone – and I promised them maximum commitment on the issue: no more temporary work, except for very limited periods or for emergencies, but competitive procedures for hiring.
The most deserving will be hired and will not have to worry about being sidelined once their contract expires and the Administration – Simeone specifies before concluding – must commit to this.
It is unthinkable that we can continue to move forward through temporary work, especially because it is not true that temporary work costs the Authority less. – concludes Simeone – Let's debunk this myth!
Merit must be rewarded and the policy of permanent employment must be promoted!”
