Mark Ignatius Starry, lieutenant of the Guardia di Finanza serving in Reggio Calabria, from Macerata Campania is no more: his lifeless body was found inside the barracks where he served as commander of the operational section of the Yellow Flames Company of the capital city of Reggio.
He is the 26-year-old son of the majority municipal councilor Tonino Stellato of the Caturano district of Macerata Campania.
At the moment little or nothing has emerged about the dynamics of the tragedy, but the hypothesis taken into consideration is that of an extreme gesture.
An action that is currently under investigation and that neither the superiors nor the colleagues of Lieutenant Stellato who made the tragic discovery can explain.
Stellato allegedly took his own life with his service weapon in his office. His body was found by his collaborators upon arrival at the barracks this morning.
