Sunday August 29st, cetara, second appointment with “Theaters in Blu“, the theatre and music festival conceived and directed by Vincenzo Albano, now in its fifth edition.
On the second day of events, for the section #bluKIDS will be staged in Piazza San Francesco at 20.30 pm "Go where your foot takes you” of and with Laura Kibel, artist who has collaborated with Cirque du Soleil; at 22.00 in piazzetta Grotta the live will continue Stories di Patricia Laquidara, winner of the Alex Baroni award for best interpretation at the Sanremo Festival, as well as the Mia Martini critics' absolute award.
It starts at 20.30 pm in Piazza San Francesco with the theatre for families, with the animation techniques of Laura Kibel. The “Theatre of the feet“, halfway between mime and object theatre, has a unique genesis. Laura Kibel arrives at this “corporal” theatre after an eclectic professional path, as a multi-instrumentalist, costume designer and set designer.
The show is a synthesis of all her skills, a real workhorse "on the road" and leaves spectators speechless with the surprise of seeing human feet transform into characters. Laura Kibel and Veronica Gonzalez, the only artists recognized and authorized to present themselves as Teatro dei Piedi, have toured the world collecting awards and enthusiastic reviews. Their research has found an original path that has differentiated them from any other artist, both for the expressive choices, but above all for the content of the stories told.
At 22.00 pm in the charming Grotta square, Patrizia Laquidara and Davide Repele (guitar) present “Stories“, a live performance where the absolute protagonist will be the musical narrative: the voice that sings and tells, that tells stories with its naked singing.
Patrizia Laquidara brings her narrative talent into play through the reading of stories she has written (soon to be released with Neri Pozza), which are counterbalanced by her singing, the songs that have made her known as a singer-songwriter, but also the songs of an “other” repertoire, which, alive and powerful, becomes a common thread between her and the audience, accompanying her, sometimes in a playful and childish way, other times in an intimate and emotional way, inside the stories narrated. Patrizia Laquidara will be accompanied by the sound of the guitar, which will resonate with the singing and the words through a journey made of mystery, ritual, play and sensuality.
