Large-scale inter-force fire control operation in the Land of Fires, in the municipalities of Castel Volturno (Caserta), Naples, Marigliano (Naples), Casandrino (Naples) and Frignano (Caserta).
To cope with the resurgence of waste fires, several control operations were carried out throughout the territory of the Land of fires, particularly in the municipalities of Castel Volturno, Naples, Marigliano, Casandrino and Frignano, reports the person in charge of combating the phenomenon of waste fires in the Campania region.

During the control activity a child was hit by a car without receiving help. The patrols intervened by chasing the vehicle and stopping the driver, then reporting him at large. Subsequently at 21.00 pm the inter-force devices moved on to via Domiziana near via Napoli to carry out further checkpoints. In the municipalities of Naples, Marigliano, Casandrino and Frignano, instead, 13 crews were employed for a total of 33 inter-force units, in the localities and sites where waste is habitually abandoned and therefore disposed of illegally on the territory, controlling 3 business activities and commercial, of which 1 fined and 1 seized, 50 people identified, of which 1 reported and 2 fined, 41 vehicles checked of which 2 vehicles fined, approximately 30 m6.503,00 of areas seized, XNUMX euros of fines imposed.
Specifically, the joint patrols were distributed on the ground as follows: in the municipality of Naples, two army patrols together with three patrols from the environmental department of the municipal police checked and seized a mechanical workshop. In the municipality of Marigliano an Army patrol together with a Municipal Police patrol checked and fined a carpentry business, reporting the owner for illegal waste management.
In the municipality of Casandrino an Army patrol together with a Municipal Police patrol checked a business and commercial activity. In the municipality of Frignano three Army patrols together with a Municipal Police patrol and a Carabinieri patrol carried out targeted checkpoints, stopping suspicious vehicles.
