“Because certain gestures should be censored – warns Don Ciro -, I invite anyone who knows of any useful information to come forward. I am confident that in the next few hours, those who had the brilliant idea of defacing the walls of the church will come forward to apologize. After the shooting, the fights, now also the parish. Let's hope we do not find ourselves faced with more serious situations. Security is an indispensable condition for living in a civil society."– declared the priest.

“Incivility, lack of respect for common goods, for sacred places and the lack of rules are phenomena that are becoming increasingly present especially among the new generations and this gives us reason to be alarmed. What future can there ever be for our territory if these are the 'values in which young people believe?' We are increasingly convinced that we need a serious re-education program that can restore the right, ethical, moral, social and cultural values, involving young people as well as their parents who will have to be constantly present in their children's lives and will have to work together with teachers, social workers and institutions. Just as we need to propose new paths, the right ones, we need to block access to the wrong ones and this can be done by providing exemplary punishments for those kids who do not respect the rules and damage the community. We sincerely hope that those who have defaced the walls of the church will come forward to apologize and make amends.”– commented the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
