Torre AnnunziataThis morning, the officers of the Torre Annunziata Police Station and the military of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza, with the support of personnel from the Flying Squad, the Campania Crime Prevention Unit and the Anti-Drug Canine Unit of the General Prevention Office, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the Cuparella area and in the “Rione Carminiello”.
During the operation, 142 people were identified, 43 of whom had a police record, 82 vehicles were checked, two of which were subject to administrative seizure, and 3 violations of the Highway Code were contested for failure to have periodic inspections.
Furthermore, the police carried out a check in via Cuparella at the home of a man under house arrest for drug-related crimes and, when the officers arrived, the son threw two bags out of a window, inside which three packages containing approximately 350 grams of cocaine, a jar with 72 grams of marijuana and 2 scales were found.
