"Aulès“, from the Greek “free and open space”, is the title chosen for the first contemporary dance festival aimed at companies from all over the country.

The festival – which will be held on the days 24, 25 and 26 September from 20,30 pm – born from an idea by Annamaria Di Maio. “After this bad pandemic period, we felt the need to stimulate the world of dance by sharing spaces with professional companies, in order to encourage cultural exchanges, bring the live audience closer and transmit the love for choreographic and contemporary art.“, says the director of ARB dance company.

There are four groups made up of young people dancers and expert dancers who will take part in the event in collaboration with Free Stage, the summer event that continues in Bourbon Quarter di Casagiove.

The show begins Friday 24 to Mandala Dance Company and presents “Discovering"of Paola Sorressa. The choreographer's research crosses the universal principles linked to holistic studies and theories, bringing to light an impactful recital that pushes man to go beyond his own boundaries and overcome every limit imposed by reason. The Roman company proposes a personal and constantly evolving language, based on the work of bodily deconstruction.

“Dance can reveal everything” is the motto of Campania Dance Association that for the evening of Saturday 25 brings to the stage"Dear Gala”. The representation of Antonello Apicella celebrates the wife and muse of Salvador Dali, a woman without a past, a seductress stuck in the margins of a talent placed in the background, compared to the artistic attention of her time. Following the performance taken from Silence Music of Life by Emma Cianchi who with the dancers of Art Garage introduces a unique creative process in progress, balanced between live performance and installation.

For the final evening of Sunday September 26, ARB Dance debuts, after the successes obtained in Campania and outside the region, in Caserta with Divine, a tribute to the seven hundred years that have passed since the death of Dante Alighieri.

With the choreography of Roberta De Rosa, the director and playwright Michele Casella indicates fragility, vulnerability and sin as unique characteristics of the female characters exalted by the supreme poet. The celestial women in contrast to the real women bring to fruition a current and personal vision of the Comedy known as a paradigm of humanity in all its nuances.

The uniqueness of this project that brings together different territorial realities is the contest Yes, I dance!. The competition, aimed at contemporary dance schools registered by September 18, includes a popular jury that will vote for the best contemporary art performance.

The victory is awarded to the school that achieves the highest number of votes assigned and will receive a cash prize. In order to ensure order for access to the stalls, in compliance with the anti-covid19 safety regulations, reservations are recommended at the email address info@arbdancecompany.it.
