The Neapolitan dancers – and cousins – Johanna e Michele Musella, are the winners of the Italian under 21 championship organized by Italian Dance Sport Federation.
The race was held within the scope of the Italian absolute championship held in PalaPaternesi of Foligno between 10 and 12 September, in which over a thousand Italians took part.
Over 90.000 euros in prize money reserved for the best-ranked athletes in the disciplines of standard dance, Latin American, combined 10 dances and Caribbean dance. The two 18-year-olds, both from the Marianella neighborhood, in addition to a prize of 1200 euros, have also earned the right to be called up for the world championships that will be held in Romania next November and will therefore be part of the blue club of the Italian national team.
