Benevento. Gold objects, watches and other precious stones with an estimated commercial value of around 75 thousand euros. The Guardia di Finanza seized them from the owner of a 'Compro oro' in the centre of Benevento who was unable to prove their provenance. The Guardia di Finanza visited the premises after a complaint was filed by a person who had recognised as his own a bracelet that had been stolen from him and was on sale in that establishment.
322 rings with precious stones, antique watches entirely made of gold, bracelets, necklaces, pendants and pins of gold material were the pieces to which seals were affixed after a check of the documentation that, starting from that of the stolen jewel, was extended to the rest of the goods.
