“Happy Birthday Gianca'”, a party for the 62nd birthday of Giancarlo Siani, the journalist killed by the Camorra on 23 September 1985
A party and a journalism contest to remember Giancarlo Siani, the journalist killed by the Camorra on the evening of September 23, 1985. Today, on the occasion of Siani's 62nd birthday, the volunteers of 'Contro la Camorra' and Radio Siani are organizing an initiative in front of the headquarters of the historic daily newspaper Il Mattino di Napoli (at the foot of Torre Francesco, in the Centro Direzionale of Naples).
In addition to the event “Buon compleanno Gianca'”, now in its tenth edition, in fact, the association 'Contro la Camorra' and Radio Siani have launched “Giancarlo scriverebbe di”, a journalism contest open to all. The three winning articles will be published on Il Mattino online and on RadioSiani.com on September 23, the anniversary of Giancarlo Siani's death.
